A beverage company is, before anything else, a packaging company. We took that seriously from day one. Every material, every supplier, and every printing decision at circadia is made with the planet that grew the ingredients in mind.
2% of profits, every quarter, to environmental protection in Canada.
The wellness aisle is drowning in single-use plastic. Hundreds of new “functional” bottles hit shelves every year, most designed to be opened once, drunk in five minutes, and thrown away.
We built circadia as a deliberate alternative.
The aluminum can, infinitely recyclable, light to ship, melted back into a new can in under 60 days, is one of the most planet-friendly formats available. Every choice we’ve made about packaging, printing, and shipping flows from that starting point.
We’re a small, family-owned business at the start of a long road. Some of what you read here is what we do today. Some is what we’re working toward. We’ll tell you which is which.
Every can we make, forever. Infinitely recyclable. Melted back into a new can in under 60 days.
Our cans are printed ink-to-can with no plastic labels. Our 4-packs are paperboard, not plastic rings.
Canadian co-packer, Canadian fulfillment, Canadian print partner. Shorter trucks, shorter footprint.
Donated to the Nature Conservancy of Canada. Audited. Published below.
Two percent of profits, every quarter we’re profitable, donated to the Nature Conservancy of Canada. No “up to a cap” asterisks. No pooled marketing fund. We close each quarter’s books, write the cheque, and publish the receipt right here on this page.
No PET. No glass-but-actually-plastic-lined hybrids. The format may grow as we add subbrands, but if we can’t make a future product without single-use plastic, we won’t make it.
Canadian co-packer. Canadian print partner. Canadian fulfillment. We site operations regionally so the trucks driving to your door are short ones.
We don’t buy carbon credits to make a claim. Offsets without measurement are accounting tricks. We track our actual emissions and publish them in our annual letter.
Our 4-pack carriers are FSC-certified paperboard, printed with water-based inks. Our shipping boxes are recyclable corrugated cardboard, no plastic void fill.
We’re a small family-owned business in our first year. When we miss a target, we’ll tell you. When we hit one, we’ll tell you that too. Greenwashing is easy. Honesty is the harder, longer game.
Every quarter after we launch, we close our books, take 2% of profits, and send a cheque to the Nature Conservancy of Canada. No cap. No asterisk. The receipts will be public, right here, rounded to the nearest five thousand for privacy.
We just launched. Some of our early quarters will run at zero or negative profit while we invest in growing the brand. When that happens, we’ll tell you. The 2% promise applies to every quarter we’re profitable, forever.
The ledger starts the day we ship our first can.
First quarterly entry expected: January 2027We chose the Nature Conservancy of Canada because they protect land, actual, physical land, across every province and territory in the country. Coast-to-coast-to-coast. They’re publicly registered, audit their finances, and operate on a scale that matches our long-term vision.
Every quarterly cheque goes directly to NCC. No middlemen, no pooled funds, no waiting for matching programs.
Canada’s leading land trust. Protecting natural areas and the diversity of life they sustain since 1962.
We won’t pretend we’ve solved everything. Here’s what we’re actively working toward, none of which is on the can today, but all of which is on the roadmap.
We’re not certified yet, but we’re pursuing it. The standards align with how we already operate. Target: certified by year three.
Our cane sugar, ginger, and chamomile are already organic. As we scale, our goal is to move toward full organic certification across the entire line.
Starting with our second annual letter, we’ll publish a measured estimate of circadia’s full carbon footprint, from co-packer to customer. Real numbers, no offsets to hide behind.
