Circadia vs.
AG1.
Strip away the marketing and AG1 is a greens-flavoured multivitamin: dozens of ingredients in a blend you cannot see, in a taste most people endure rather than enjoy. The breadth does not justify the experience. We chose fewer ingredients, dosed to matter, in something you actually look forward to.
AG1 is made by AG1.One blend, regardless of what the hour needs.
A long list is not the same as the right list.
You cannot see how much of most things you get.
Depth you cannot verify is not depth you can trust.
A multivitamin in a costume
For all the ceremony, AG1 is essentially a broad multivitamin in powder form, and a long ingredient list does not change that. The breadth is the marketing, not the benefit. We would rather do a few things genuinely well than many things faintly.12
A long list hides the doses
Most of those ingredients sit inside a proprietary blend, so you cannot see how much of each you actually get. Independent reviewers at McGill have repeatedly questioned how much real-world benefit that breadth delivers. Circadia prints every milligram, because a number you cannot read is a number you cannot trust.13
Energy, focus and calm do not belong in one scoop
Different nutrients pull in different directions. The things that help you wind down, like magnesium and glycine, are not the things you want at 7 a.m., and a stimulant-free morning greens powder ignores the clock entirely. Pouring all of it into a single breakfast scoop is convenient, not physiological. We split the day on purpose: RISE to climb, DRIFT to come down.24
More is not the goal, right is
Flooding a scoop with a little of everything is not the same as a meaningful dose of the few things you are short on. We pick vitamin D, choline, magnesium and glycine, the gaps with the best evidence for Canadians, then dose them to matter.56
Form matters as much as amount
It is not just how much, it is which version. We use magnesium glycinate, the absorbable amino-acid-bound form, rather than the cheap oxide that mostly passes through. AG1 does not disclose the forms and doses of most of its ingredients.7
Something you enjoy, not endure
A daily ritual you have to talk yourself into is not much of a ritual. RISE and DRIFT are built to taste like something you reach for, with real juice and botanicals, not a grassy scoop you tolerate for the supposed virtue of it.
One scoop cannot know the hour
AG1 is a single morning ritual for a body that has two very different halves of a day. Circadia is two cans built for each.48
