Circadia vs.
Ryde.
Ryde gets the big thing right, that timing matters, and we respect the instinct. Each 60ml shot carries a real little stack for its moment. The gaps are dosing and proof: the amounts are not always printed, the sweetener is sucralose, and a set of single shots is not a dosed, two-part daily system.
Ryde is made by Ryde (The Water Street Collective).A synthetic sweetener across the line.
Real actives, but amounts are not always printed.
A few actives each, lightly dosed.
A real wind-down attempt.
Two shots caffeine-free, two caffeinated.
A small single-serve format, not a can.
Credit: it understands the clock.
Zero sugar, but a synthetic sweetener.
A fellow Canadian.
The right idea, half-built
Designing for moments is exactly correct, and we will give Ryde full marks for the instinct. But a moment needs a formula behind it. Ours pairs the lift with vitamin D, choline, taurine and a B-complex in RISE, and magnesium glycinate, glycine and L-theanine in DRIFT.12
Real actives, but print the dose
Ryde’s shots do carry real botanicals and aminos, melatonin, GABA, theanine, ginseng and lemon balm, chosen for each moment. The catch is that the amounts often are not printed, and the line leans on sucralose. We print every milligram and target vitamin D, choline and magnesium in forms that absorb.34
Caffeine is not a function
A jolt is a delivery mechanism, not a benefit. We treat caffeine as one supporting ingredient in a morning can, not the whole point, and we leave it out of the evening entirely.5
Depth, fully dosed and printed
Where Ryde is sparse, we are deliberate: a full profile of actives, each in an absorbable form, every milligram on the label.67
